A police investigation has been launched following an attempted ram-raid in Coventry. Officers were called to Henley Industrial Park.

Police rushed to the scene following an 'alarm activation' in the early hours of Tuesday, August 29. A Mercedes was seen hitting roller shutters at one of the units before fleeing the scene, said West Midlands Police.

Detectives are now appealing for those with information to come forward. Anyone who witnessed the incident has been asked to call 101.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to an alarm activation at Henley Industrial Park in the early hours of Tuesday, August 29.

“A black Mercedes was seen hitting roller shutters at one of the units before leaving the scene. We are now investigating and anyone with any information can contact us on 101 or via Live Chat quoting crime number 20/751305/23.”
